2 questions 1 about GERD and 1 about Target vs Walmart and diapers?
Our lil girl has GERD which I understand is quite common and nothing too serious. She has been put on Alimentum, we elevate her for at least a half hour after a feed, burp her well and often, feed at a bigger angle than typical, and keep the booie sucker close for those times when the spitting up is really bad and coming out the nose. Doc also said give her gas drops so we do that with every other feed. Is there anything else we can do to help her? I feel so bad she wakes screaming in pain and I know its the acid in her throat it breaks my heart especially when she shivers I am assuming because it hurts so bad since her face turns red as well. Any tips from other parents?
Now who shops Target and or Walmart for diapers? Who is cheaper? Do the Target brand diapers hold well? Were in size 1 at he moment going into size 2 in a few weeks. DD is allergic to walmart brand. Are the LUVs etc any cheaper at Target? Thanks.
I’m not sure about GERD… but I do know that Walmart’s Parents Choice diapers are the best cheap diapers ever. I’ve never had a problem with them leaking or falling apart. I had been buying the Luvs diapers for a while and was constantly having problems with them fitting right and having a huge leaky diaper in the morning. Parents Choice is a few dollars cheaper too. They’re the ones in the yellow box or bag. My son is in a size 4 and I can get a box of 82 for $14, so if you get a big box of size 2′s you’ll probably get over a hundred in a box. 1 box lasts me 2 weeks.

Goodnites/Pullups–Diapers?? What is your opinion, are they the same?
This is just a friendly question that I have to ask, what is your opinion on goodnites/pullup and diapers? Are they the same thing or do you think they are different? My opinion is they are all diapers. The all have the same absorbant material to absorb urine, the only difference is how they are applied, tape tabs or all-in-one elastic waist. I am asking becuase I have seen and also answered some questions that some people are so against having a child in “Diapers” but “Pullups” or “Goodnites”are okay. Now I know what most will say that diapers are associated with babies and pullups and goodnites are more for older children but at the end of the day they are all diapers, either tape on diapers or pullup diapers. Again this is just a friendly question, please don’t go analysing and making all kinds of judgements on answers, I just think its ironic that some think diapers for anyone past 3 is just wrong but a pullup type diaper (goodnites included) is just fine.
Thanks
Well in my opinion Goodnites and pull up are for the people that like to waste money and PRETEND that their child is not wetting a diaper.
I on the other hand am not as easliy fooled
I like getting the most for my money and Luvs are it for me
they are cheaper, more in the box, and very absorbant
My boys pee like no body’s business so i need something absorbant, and the cheaper one can’t cut it.
During the day I have those thick trainer under pants for accidents.
As far as my children are concerned how do they know its for babies unless you say they’re for babies,
If they really have a problem with them, tell them they need to be able to make it through the nite trust me they understand

Rash concerned vs. store brand?
Have you used the Huggies brand name or trademarks Pampers diapers or save as parental choice, Toys R Us, or registered members. What do you think are good or better?
When my son was a newborn, diapers Pampers were used, as it seemed to fit better. But as I got a little more and we moved from the cruise Pampers diapers, did not work so well. We used Huggies or store brand (the choice of parents, I think it's Wal-Mart brand, but also uses the brand grocery and Playskool). The only I did not like was Luvs. He always seemed to leak. When my brother and my sister was a baby, I remember my mother all the time and Luvs. Money-wise, the generic is always preferable sections, but sometimes work better in some babies, and at certain ages, too. There are a lot of trial and error.
